Hey, I never post text here really. Want it to be mostly an art blog. But something has really been on my mind that possibly other people might be thinking too.
In school, many Professors and students talk about being alone for countless hours of the week. They work alone, eat alone, and live…
What I’ve been working on today!

Two weeks til NY!

Line art finished! Now for everything else…joyous.
Still considering a slightly darker color on the line though.
An amazing little museum tucked off to the side of Harvard Yard. The Great Mammal Hall is MINDBLOWINGLY awesome. Theres a giant glass case with a giraffe and whale skeletons hanging over your head. The great thing about this museum vs larger natural history museums is that everything is so close. The Great Mammal Hall, for the extensiveness of pieces, is an extremely small room. The wooden floors creak, and theres a catwalk that brings you face to face with the whales. Bad. Ass.
Here are some cruddy pics from my phone.

I’ve been sorting through a growing stack of magazines and books and came across an issue of Hi-Fructose from a few months back. In it was a feature on an ahhhhh-mazing artist, Caitlin Hackett! (http://caitlinhackett.carbonmade.com)
Gorgeous linework, insane attention to detail, muted color palettes (I think she may have mixed the PERFECT gross, bulbous flesh color), and subject matter out of your craziest nightmares…I might be in love!
