Intermission Update: Hua Mulan
Ok, a “real” update, of sorts.
A quick sketch of the Hua Mulan I always had in my mind.
I was killing time Youtube-surfing and came across videos from different mainstream movie and tv series adaptations of the story of Hua Mulan. And I realized I have never really accepted the image of Mulan as shown in modern media.
Not to assume that a strong, legendary woman can’t...

Update on why I can't update.
The sweaty palms, nerves, excitement, fear, trauma, elation, disappointment, CARNAL FIRE. This is playoff hockey. Game 6 of the Stanley Cup finals is TONIGHT with my Boston boys in a MUST WIN situation down 3 games to 2.
